Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with ARRT (R) certification and 2 years of acute care experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in a radiology unit within an acute care setting
  • Work schedule includes 12-hour shifts, typically 3 shifts per week with a combination of 11 : 00 AM–11 : 30 PM and 7 : 00 PM–7 : 30 AM shifts
  • Uses EPIC as the EMR system
  • Shift rotation covers both day and night hours
  • Radiation badge must be provided by the traveler’s agency
  • Red scrub tops and black scrub bottoms are required
  • Patient population and caseload details are not specified
  • A 50-mile radius rule applies; local travelers are not accepted
  • If previously employed at a WVU Medicine location, a 2-year break is required before applying
  • Travelers cannot work within WVU facilities for more than one year without a 2-year break afterwards
  • Scrub attire must be red tops and black bottoms
  • Candidates must disclose any licensing or background hits during the application process
  • First-time travelers will be considered

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist in an acute care setting
  • Active ARRT (R) certification required
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification required
  • Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
  • Driver’s license copy required for consideration
  • License required if applicable
