Locum to Permanent Opportunity : Emergency Medicine Physician in Devils Lake, ND We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at a Level II Trauma Center located in Saints Alexius Health Devils Lake Hospital. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment, delivering critical care to a diverse patient population. You will begin with a locum coverage period of approximately 6 months before transitioning to a permanent role. Job Responsibilities : Provide high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages. Perform procedures such as intubation, chest tube insertion, central line placements, and adult and pediatric resuscitation. Engage in OB / GYN procedures and deliveries. Utilize EPIC as the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Work varied shifts ranging from 10 to 12 hours. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications : Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) - Required Valid North Dakota medical license - Required Current certifications in PALS, ATLS, and ACLS - Required Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
