Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE) is seeking an experienced, mission-driven Clinical Director (BCBA) to lead our Durham clinic. This role is ideal for a BCBA who thrives in a collaborative, structured environment and is ready to mentor clinicians, guide clinical quality, and support positive outcomes for children and families.
You will oversee clinical operations while maintaining a small caseload. Strong leadership presence, integrity, and reliability are essential.
Compensation
$140,000–$160,000 annually (including bonus potential)
Compensation varies based on experience, leadership skills, and overall qualifications.

Advanced Clinical Skills Expertise in conducting FBAs, writing complex BIPs, and reviewing assessment data High-level clinical decision-making and problem-solving Ability to ensure treatment integrity clinic-wide Experience supervising BCBAs, BCaBAs, and RBTs / BTs Leadership & Management Strong leadership presence and ability to guide teams Ability to lead clinical meetings, caseload allocation, and staff development Skilled in conflict resolution and supporting escalated cases Ability to maintain a positive, growth-focused clinic culture Operational Excellence Ability to partner with leadership on staffing, scheduling, and clinic systems Strong understanding of Medicaid and insurance documentation requirements Ability to manage time between billable work, supervision, and administrative duties Professional Skills Excellent written and verbal communication Strong professionalism, reliability, and judgment Ability to build relationships with families and staff Ability to stay regulated during high-intensity clinical situations
