The Assistant Visual Manager is responsible for leading the retail team to deliver commercial and operational objectives and uphold visual standards. They are accountable for delivering the highest level of customer experience, driving commercial results and ensuring compliance to all operational and visual guidelines.
Key Assistant Visual Manager Duties
People and Leadership :
- Provide clear direction to the team and foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
- Lead the team to deliver exceptional levels of customer experience and achieve commercial objectives.
- Mentor and motivate the team regarding all aspects of customer service, operations, and visual expectations.
Commercial and Operations :
Regularly review business performance and develop strategies to maximise commercial opportunities.Compile and present commercial and operational reports to senior managers.Ensure that operational processes and standards are communicated to all team members and upheld.Maintain back of house standards and guidelines to optimise store efficiency.Customer Experience :
Act as an ambassador for the brand, creating a culture of trust and community with all customers.Ensure the brand service ceremony is fully implemented in all customer interactions.Support the execution and implementation of retail events and activities.Visual Merchandising :
Collaborate with retail leadership, brand, design and merchandising to plan and implement in-store visual merchandising of product, window displays and mannequins.Utilise sales reports to track, analyse and communicate product performance and implement strategies to maximise sales.Manage and plan placement of new products in accordance with seasonal collection launches.Assist in monitoring inventory levels, ensuring that best-selling styles are displayed and adequately stocked. Communicate sell throughs to the Store Manager and merchandising team and rotate styles when needed.Maintain the overall store appearance by ensuring that displays, fixtures and signage are in excellent condition and regularly refreshed.Deliver training on visual standards to store teams and work with managers to communicate visual merchandising guidelines and ensure consistency.Stay informed about new merchandise and collections to effectively translate the brand's message in store.Key Knowledge and Experience :
Strong leadership, communication and influencing skill.Minimum of 2 years experience working with visual merchandising in a retail environment.Experience working in an omni-channel environment and using a variety of digital systems and tools.Able to solve problems and provide tactical and strategic solution.Project Management experience and able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.The Candidate :
