About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of six months to three years of nursing (RN) experience required

License : Current RN License

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS

Must-Have :

  • ICU experience
  • Required Skills : Collaboration, Communication (verbal & written), Judgment / Critical Thinking, Organizational Understanding, Planning (Organizing, Time Management), Problem Solving, Quality, Reliability, Safety and Risk Management

Description :

The Registered Nurse (RN) protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities.

This includes the prevention of illness and injury, and the alleviation of suffering through diagnosis, treatment, and advocacy in care.

The RN is responsible for compliance with all standards of practice and professional development.

These standards align with the Nurse Practice Act and the Code of Ethics for Nurses.

The RN promotes a caring and healing environment for patient-centered care.

The RN assesses, plans, delegates, coordinates, implements, and evaluates nursing care.

They manage a group of patients, serving as a primary or accountable nurse as assigned.

The RN educates patients and families in health promotion and disease management using available resources.

They utilize a working knowledge of pharmacology and safely administer medications.

The RN shares responsibility for effective resource utilization, including staffing and time management.

They comply with all nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements.

The RN actively participates in and supports improvement initiatives and peer review practices.

They engage in professional development and complete all mandatory education requirements.

The RN integrates nursing research and current evidence into practice.

They provide support and a learning environment for new employees and students.

The RN will follow all organizational values and perform other duties as assigned.
