Department : MHC Behavioral Hlth Co Respond

FTE : Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift : Days

Pay : $33.82 - $50.73 / hour. Pay is based on relevant experience.

Summary :

As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in investigating, assessing, and planning interventions to assist patients in managing social, emotional, economic, and environmental challenges. In this position, you will operate as an independently licensed behavioral health clinician, working closely with local first response agencies.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct thorough interviews and assessments of patients and their support systems.
  • Identify priorities and arrange necessary internal and external services and interventions; actively participate in case reviews to assess progress.
  • Respond in the field alongside law enforcement to assist patients experiencing active crises, facilitating access to resources like housing, healthcare, and social services.
  • Provide supervision and training for new staff, students, and interns.
  • Utilize critical thinking and make decisive judgments while working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements :

  • Master's degree in a Social Service or Behavioral Health related field.
  • Valid licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Counselor (MFT), or Addiction Counselor (ACD). Relevant life support certification as determined by the position.
