Position Overview : We are seeking a talented and motivated AFM Probe Application Engineer to join our dedicated team. The AFM Probe Application Engineer will be instrumental in developing and optimizing AFM probe solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of nanotechnology, collaborate with university researchers and scientists , and drive innovation in AFM probe design and application.

Responsibilities :

• Probe Design and Development :
• Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to design and optimize AFM probes for specific applications, such as surface topography imaging, mechanical property mapping, and electrical characterization.
• Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and computational modeling to predict and optimize the performance of AFM probes under various operating conditions.
• Prototype and test novel probe designs using advanced manufacturing techniques and nanofabrication processes

Qualifications :

This position is based at our Mountain View, CA office, with occasional travel required for customer visits, conferences, and collaborative projects.
