Patient Ratios SD / ICU 2-4 : 1; Med-Surg : 5-6 : 1; 2-3 PCT on floor as appropriate

Type of equipment - IV pumps, SCDs, Nova Stat glucometer, wound vac, Baxter feeding pump, Lift equipment as appropriate, Pyxis (nurses only)

EMR -Cerner

Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for :

Must have

All RNs must have BLS, ACLS completed prior to end of orientation

PCT / NAs are required to have BLS

Preferred or nice to have :

candidates with these skills will be considered first.

RNs with ICU / Stepdown experience

Staff with 1 year med / surg experience is preferred

Acute Care utilizes a Team-Based Care model.

All care providers, from MDs, nurses, case management, pharmacist and PT / OT meet daily to discuss patient / care / treatments and discharge needs.

Weekends and On call

Weekend rotation, 3 Monday and Friday per 6 week scheduling .

Holidays per staffing matrix.
