Description of Position :
This is a full-time position within PMHC’s Outpatient or TOP / APH Department. Minimum requirements include a Master’s Degree and two years related experience in the field of Psychology, Social Work, or behavioral health. Working knowledge of co-occurring disorders preferred. Must be licensed or license eligible.

Physical Requirements :
- Equipment use including but not limited to computer (including repetitive motions of typing, seeing monitor), copier, fax, printer, shredder, telephone, and voice mail
- Sitting for extended periods of time, walking up stairs, balancing, reaching, bending, stretching, standing, walking, and lifting up to 10 lbs.
Other Requirements :
All Therapists must provide proof of current Child Abuse and Criminal History clearances upon hiring, as well as updated clearances every two (2) years.All licensed and / or certified Therapists are expected to fulfill the respective continuing education requirements needed to maintain their certification and / or licensure.All Therapists are encouraged to pursue continuing professional development.All licensed and / or certified Therapists are expected to fulfill the credentialing / billing requirements established by payors, such as CAQH.Therapists are required to participate in supervision and other related supervisory sessions as needed, as well as any training required by supervisor.B. Duties / Responsibilities :
Demonstrate a caring, respectful, responsive, and professional manner in all dealings with consumers, colleagues and stakeholders.Demonstrate a commitment to help improve the lives of the consumers we serve and the character of the communities we serve in.Carry and maintain responsibility for case load as assigned.Participates in the development of individual treatment plans, case reviews, summaries and reviews requested from internal or external sources.Communicates clinical and medical issues to prescribers, and team as indicated, and assists with crisis triage as needed.Provides direct services to clients through (individual, couple, family, mobile etc.) and group therapies, as per accepted standards of clinical practice.Performs evaluation and assessment activities, which includes a working knowledge of DSM-IV diagnoses and treatment planning, as assigned.Maintain clinical records in accordance with Agency and regulatory standards; complete all paperwork in a timely and thorough manner.Participates in meetings, staff development meetings and training as needed.Provides liaison services through direct consultation with educational, legal, employment, family, referral and linking sources, etc. as needed.Maintains minimum productivity requirements as indicated by Director.When necessary, flex schedule to assist in meeting coverage needs and those of consumers.Complies with all policies and procedures of Penndel Mental Health Center.Maintain assigned work area in a clean, organized condition and engage in safe and hazard free work environment.Participates in agency-wide Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives.Will adhere to Corporate Compliance Plan and review annually.Pursues ongoing professional development, education and training to maintain / upgrade skills and sustain credentials.Maintains effective interdepartmental relationships with other agency staff.Performs related duties as required / assigned.Company Description
