Shuttle Driver / DOT

Job Title

Performs shuttle functions using a non-articulated vehicle; to load and unload aircraft / vehicles; to sort packages. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma / GED.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and / or assistance from another person. Ability to work with power and hand tools. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Effectively communicate verbally in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

Requires medical exam in accordance with FHWA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be licensed for type of equipment assigned.

Pay Transparency : This compensation range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting pay range in NJ. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay is determined by experience relative to the job, market level, specific location and other job-related factors permitted by law. Regular full & part-time employees (who complete 91 days of employment and work a minimum average of 12 hours per week) are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, and / or vision coverage, tuition reimbursement. Full / part-time employees who are age 21 are eligible for 401(k) after one month of employment.

Pay : $22.25 / hour ($22.25 - $32.52 / hour)

Additional Details : Monday -Saturday with a weekday OFF. 4 : 30am - 10 : 30am.
