Job Description

As a Security Officer - Access Control Specialist in Omaha, NE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and managing visitor access. You will conduct routine patrols of the facility, remain visible to support a secure environment, and provide exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Assist with controlling access to the location by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and / or security-related incidents within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
  • Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and addressing concerns from employees, visitors, and contractors.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or policy violations to the appropriate Allied Universal management and / or client representatives.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and emergency protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential threats and / or security-related issues.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and access control logs as required by site-specific policies.

  • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
