Ocean Breeze Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Technician / Cashier to join our team. The Pharmacy Technician / Cashier is a dynamic role that combines the responsibilities of a pharmacy technician and cashier. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, efficiently processing financial transactions, and supporting the pharmacy team in various aspects of pharmaceutical operations.
Responsibilities :
Customer Service - Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Provide information on pharmacy products, services, and promotions.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Cash Handling and Record Keeping - Maintain the accuracy of financial records, including sales, cash, and credit card transactions. Prepare and reconcile daily cash and financial reports. Ensure the security and confidentiality of financial information.
Inventory Management - Assist in monitoring and restocking OTC medication shelves.
Notify the pharmacy team when stock levels are low.
Help maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Compliance - Adhere to all pharmacy policies and procedures, including those related to HIPAA and regulatory compliance. Stay updated on changes in pharmacy regulations and contribute to maintaining a compliant environment.
Team Collaboration - Work collaboratively with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other staff to ensure efficient operations. Support the pharmacy team during peak hours and assist with customer inquiries.
