Position Summary of the Final Inspector Role at Altek Electronics :

The Final Inspector is responsible for inspecting PCB components and assemblies to applicable IPC and / or J-STD workmanship standards, in addition to internal quality standards.

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Final Inspector are described below, other duties may be assigned :

• Conducts final inspections on sub-assemblies, assemblies and / or components. May be required to conduct in-process inspections in various production areas
• Ensure that the product conforms to work instructions, applicable IPC or J-STD standards, and internal / customer quality / workmanship standards
• Identify and segregate nonconforming materials; Must become familiar with NCMR process.
• Complete daily inspection report denoting the acceptance and / or rejection rate for all items in accordance with the standards defined within job traveler
• Supports supervisors and / or operators in the resolution of quality problems
• Actively participates in quality initiatives by participating in problem solving, process improvements and performance measurements.
• Responsible for understanding & following company, and or manufacturing guidelines / procedures
• Responsible for product quality as defined by internal and external customers, work instructions, specifications and procedures.
• Responsible for following established safety rules & 6S
