The Associate Integration Services Engineer (AISE) is responsible for the maintenance and support of activities related to the integration of systems and third-party solutions that meet the business requirements of the organization. he expectation for this role is to build strong and collaborative working relationships and trust with the team members and stakeholders through the various design, integration, configuration, implementation, and consultation activities.
Summary of Responsibilities :
- Learns to support and maintain solutions for IBM App Connect Enterprise and IBM MQ, Oracle SOA, Microsoft BizTalk, and other technologies.
- Focus on continuous improvement by studying existing EDI and integrations to understand better the architecture, use, need, functionality, and efficiency.
- Helps in troubleshooting efforts, efficiently identify, and resolve issues that arise during design, testing and maintenance of integration services.
- Supports automated monitoring to ensure proactive handling of issues to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Work closely with the lead engineer and manager to execute work based on business priorities.
- Comply with activities related to SOX audits, SDLC (System Design Life Cycle) documentation and departmental standards.
- Follows business continuity plans for IBM integration platforms.
- Learn to understand customer needs, industry trends and provide solutions keeping in consideration patterns, best practices, existing tools, technologies, and platforms.
- Promotes the development of IT solutions and changes in business processes that align with the vision and assists the teams in charge of the implementation of these changes.
- Follows IT architecture practice, standards, and methodology.
- Supports the processes of incident and problem management to fix issues, helping the base support teams as a point of escalation.
- Respond to emergency service calls at any time outside of normally assigned work hours.
