Escrow Closer

Job Summary

The Escrow Closer at Northwest Indiana Title facilitates all aspects of the real estate closing process for our Rensselaer office. This position works closely with all parties involved in the transaction, including attorneys, lenders, realtors, and, in some cases, buyers and sellers, to ensure a smooth and timely closing.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of escrow standards, title clearance, real estate regulations, and document preparation. This role requires excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain professionalism under pressure.

Our Escrow Closer should be highly customer-focused, proactive in building and maintaining relationships, and comfortable working independently. Some travel may be required for off-site closings. Additional responsibilities include managing CloseSimple communications, maintaining key chains and TV display content for both the Lowell and Rensselaer offices, and completing other duties as assigned.
