Overview

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is the flagship casino resort of Hard Rock International, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. This world-renowned entertainment, gaming, and hospitality destination unveiled a $1.5 billion expansion on Oct. 24, 2019. New offerings include 638 upscale guestrooms in the first-ever Guitar Hotel, 168 luxury guestrooms and unique swim-up suites in the adjacent Oasis Tower at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, and 465 newly redesigned guestrooms in Hard Rock Hotel for a combined room count of 1,271 throughout the resort. Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Sous Chef, the incumbent assists with preparation of foods in assigned kitchen outlets.

Essential Job Functions :

• Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
• Assures that the working area is clean and sanitary in accordance with local and state health department codes.
• Serves all guests according to established standards of quality and in pre-determined portions.
• Assures that all food preparation and service areas are in accordance with the local, state and Federal health department codes.
• Follows department Standards and Procedures.
• Promotes positive public / employee relations at all times.
• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic food preparation knowledge and line work experience. Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations. These skills are typically acquired through a minimum of one-year prior experience as a Cook Trainee or coffee shop line cook, and / or through the completion of a degree in culinary arts or recognized apprenticeship.
