Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or identify potential concerns. Monitor for unusual activity within the government location and promptly report findings according to established procedures. Document observations, occurrences, and incidents encountered during patrols, maintaining accurate records for site management. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required, supporting coordination during incidents. Remain alert to changing conditions around the site and adapt patrol routes or actions as appropriate to maintain a secure environment. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Security Officer - Government Patrol Specialist
As a Security Officer - Government Patrol Specialist in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all occupants. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a strong visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.
