Job Description & Requirements Specialty : ED - Emergency Department Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 03 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Unit Info Patient Types : behavioral health, peds, adults Patient Ratios : 4 : 1 Bed Size : 18 Drips : sedation, vasoactive Scrubs : Navy blue, solids EMR : EPIC Will be required to float across all campuses; Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran & Iowa Methodist SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS -3 years of experience in emergency medicine -1st time travelers accepted -experience in peds / adults including behavioral health -experience with drips including sedations, vasoactive -tele strip reading -References - one supervisory performance eval / reference from within 2 years of employment / contract CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS -BLS (AHA) -ACLS (AHA) -PALS (AHA) -TNCC Shift Notes : Nights; 12 hr shifts - May be required to float across campuses : ILH, MWH, IMMC Weekend Requirements : every 4th weekend including holiday rotation 2025 Holidays : -Winter holidays : Required to work 2 of 3 (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving) -Limit of 1 day request off between 11 / 26 / 25-11 / 30 / 25 and 12 / 23 / 25-1 / 2 / 26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.
