Certified Dental Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, proficiency in using dental technology, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff.

• Responsibilities
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure efficiency and patient comfort.
• Prepare, sterilize and organize treatment rooms, instruments and equipment before and after dental procedures.
• Take digital dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols.
• Utilize 3D scanners for imaging as required in various treatments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
• Manage inventory of dental supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Perform patient assessments, including medical history, and maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation.
• Implement four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance workflow.
• Help maintain a clean, organized and welcoming office environment.
• Qualifications
• & Skills
• MD X-Ray License REQUIRED.
• Certified Dental Assistant - Certification from the DANB preferred.
• Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using dental software systems. Knowledge of Eaglesoft is advantageous.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while providing outstanding patient care.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours : 32 40 per week
