OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, proficiency in using dental technology, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure efficiency and patient comfort.
- Prepare, sterilize and organize treatment rooms, instruments and equipment before and after dental procedures.
- Take digital dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols.
- Utilize 3D scanners for imaging as required in various treatments.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Perform patient assessments, including medical history, and maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation.
- Implement four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance workflow.
- Help maintain a clean, organized and welcoming office environment.
- Qualifications
- & Skills
- MD X-Ray License REQUIRED.
- Certified Dental Assistant - Certification from the DANB preferred.
- Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using dental software systems. Knowledge of Eaglesoft is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while providing outstanding patient care.
