About The Position

We are seeking a Critical Care Medicine Physician Assistant for a 20-day locum tenens assignment in Virginia. This opportunity starts on Sep 2, 2025, with potential shifts covering both day and night hours. The role involves managing procedures such as central lines, arterial lines, and intubations in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Insertion and management of central and arterial lines
  • Performing intubations
  • Monitoring and adjusting ventilator settings
  • Managing acute critical care scenarios
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care

    • Additional Information

  • Board certification or eligibility in critical care is highly preferred
  • Active Virginia license required for practice
  • Proficiency with Meditech EHR systems is essential for integrating into our workflow smoothly
