Public Sector Education Projects | TETER

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for supporting the construction process from behind the scenes?

TETER is seeking a Construction Administrator II to assist with the bidding, construction, and closeout phases of public sector education projects across California. In this role, you'll work closely with senior construction administration staff to ensure documentation is accurate, processes are followed, and project records are maintained throughout the construction lifecycle.

You'll play a key role in coordinating communications, tracking submittals and RFIs, and supporting compliance with agency requirements-all while contributing to the successful delivery of K–12 and higher education facilities that serve communities across the state.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and issue addenda, RFIs, and supplemental instructions
  • Review and track submittals, shop drawings, and contractor schedules
  • Maintain construction administration logs and annotate drawing sets
  • Assist with government agency forms and project certification
  • Support final punch list inspections and closeout documentation
  • Collaborate with project managers, senior CA staff, and inspectors
  • Attend occasional site visits and client meetings

What You Bring

  • 2–7 years of experience in a construction-related administrative role
  • Associate's degree in architecture or construction (Bachelor's preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and / or Revit preferred
  • Proficiency in PDF tools and MS Office Suite
  • Valid driver's license for travel to project sites

  • Pay Range : $32-40 per hour (actual pay based on experience, location, and qualifications)
