Job descriptionMD / DO Degree from an accredited College of Medicine Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology Active state medical license 1 year of Anesthesia experience ACLS, PALS, BLS, and DEA License Full-time position with 40 hours per week 12-hour shifts from 7 : 30 am to 7 : 30 pm 1 : 5 call schedule Expedited hospital credentialing process Electronic health record system : Meditech
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for a variety of cases at a single hospital
- Work independently without CRNA supervision
- Perform blocks, lumber punctures, and intubations
- Handle a caseload consisting of 50% Ortho, 25% OB / GYN, and 25% Eye procedures
- Stabilize and transfer more complex cases as needed
