About the Role

The Company is seeking three volunteer members to join its Board of Directors, with a focus on governance and strategy. The successful candidates will be part of a pivotal moment in the organization's growth, contributing to strategic planning, fundraising, and mission-driven leadership. Board members will be responsible for evolving the long-term vision and plan for the school, ensuring financial sustainability, and supporting the Head of School. This hands-on role requires a commitment to the school's unique mission, which is dedicated to serving gifted learners and redefining the educational experience for this population. Candidates for the Board of Directors should be experienced nonprofit leaders or successful entrepreneurs, with a preference for those who have a background in either fundraising or marketing communications. Essential qualifications include a minimum of 10 years' of relevant experience, a personal capacity for a significant annual financial commitment, and a strong understanding of or connection to gifted education. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record in their specialized area, be strategic thinkers with the ability to execute, and demonstrate a deep commitment to the values of the organization. Board members are expected to be actively engaged, attending regular meetings, and participating in the school's events and initiatives.
