Job Description
The Associate Quality Engineer will lead the Material Review Board process and assist with Root Cause Analysis to address and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and Customer Complaints. You will generate quality assurance documentation in accordance with AS9100 standards, train operators on required operations, and work collaboratively with manufacturing and engineering teams to implement, standardize, document, and improve both new and existing processes.

Job Description
The Associate Quality Engineer will lead the Material Review Board process and assist with Root Cause Analysis to address and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and Customer Complaints. You will generate quality assurance documentation in accordance with AS9100 standards, train operators on required operations, and work collaboratively with manufacturing and engineering teams to implement, standardize, document, and improve both new and existing processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Material Review Board process and assist with Root Cause Analysis for NCR / CAPA and Customer Complaints.
- Generate quality assurance documentation per AS9100 standards and train manufacturing operators.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to improve and document processes.
- Execute and train on 5S implementation across various departments.
- Serve as an internal auditor for ISO9000 and AS9100 standards.
- Perform basic inspection and testing using hand tools and GD&T.
- Work with departments to achieve company goals and enforce quality standards.
- Recognize trends and prepare quality metrics / reports for company-wide sharing.
- Create efficient systems to support manufacturing operations.
- Perform tasks as assigned by the Manager / Director of Quality / President.
- Demonstrate commitment to company Core Values and safety policies.
- Obtain, maintain competency, and train associates on Keyence LM-X auto-inspection and Keyence XM5000 CMM equipment.

The role involves working closely with various departments to achieve company goals, with a focus on quality standards, customer satisfaction, product accuracy, and timely deliveries. The environment is safety-oriented, requiring adherence to all safety policies and procedures. You will operate advanced inspection equipment such as Keyence LM-X auto-inspection and Keyence XM5000 CMM, and engage in continuous training and process improvement initiatives.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00 / hr.
