Job Summary :
The Termite Inspection and Treatment Technician is responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and treating termite and other wood-destroying organism infestations in residential and commercial properties. This role involves conducting thorough inspections, preparing detailed reports, and applying termite control treatments using industry-approved methods and equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
Inspection Duties :
- Conduct detailed inspections of homes and commercial buildings for evidence of termites and wood-destroying organisms.
- Assess structural damage, identify risk factors, and determine conducive conditions for infestations.
- Create clear, accurate reports including diagrams, photos, and treatment recommendations.
- Educate customers on inspection findings, treatment plans, and prevention tips.
Treatment Duties :
Apply appropriate termite treatment methods (e.g., liquid barriers, bait systems, localized treatments) following label instructions and safety protocols.Drill, trench, or perform structural alterations as needed for treatment access.Monitor and maintain termite bait stations and perform follow-up services.Ensure all tools, equipment, and chemicals are handled safely and stored properly.Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED (required).1+ years of experience in termite inspection or pest control preferredValid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Knowledge of termite species, treatment methods, and applicable safety guidelines.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to read and complete inspection reports and treatment documentation.Physical Requirements :
Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.Comfortable working in confined spaces (attics, crawlspaces) and at heights.Tolerant of outdoor work in various weather conditions.Capable of performing physical labor including drilling, digging, and crawling.Work Schedule & Environment :
Full-time position; may include overtime, weekends, or emergency calls.Work performed in residential, commercial, and occasionally construction environments.Daily travel required; company vehicle and equipment provided during working hours.Compensation & Benefits :
