The Director of Financial Aid is responsible for providing efficient operations and superior service to financial aid applicants, their families, and members of the university community. This position will lead the financial aid office at the Florham Campus and will serve as the point person for any unique Florham bases programs. In addition, this position will be the point person to work with the Finance Department at the University and will be the main person to work with the Florham Campus faculty in regard to financial aid issues. This position is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the Student Financial Aid Office at the Florham Campus. This position reports to the University Director of Financial Aid.

1.BA / BS required, Masters a plus.

2.A seasoned financial aid professional with at least 5 years experience and demonstrated success working with Federal and State financial aid programs.

3.Experience supervising staff, working with significant sized budgets, and ability to work with a variety of constituents.

4.Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

5.Ability to work independently, as well as part of a diverse, dynamic team of professionals.

6.Experience in working for mid to large size colleges / universities or organization.

7.Excellent customer / student service skills.

8.Familiarity with Ellucian system preferred.
