Healthcare Job Details Location : Yuma, Arizona (zip 85364) – Southwest Arizona healthcare jobs Facility Setting : Acute Care – Med / Surg Telemetry (2 West Unit) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 8 / 2025 – End : 3 / 9 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour nights (6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Holiday Requirement : 2 out of 3 holidays Unit Size : 90 double occupancy beds Scrub Color : Navy Blue Estimated Weekly Salary : $1990-$2130 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Arizona or compact state BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year in Med / Surg Telemetry Recent clinical experience in a Trauma Level I or II hospital Proficient with Epic EMR system Ability to comply with 100-mile radius rule Flexibility to float to MedSurg, low acuity ICU, RDU, and Foothills clinic RDU as needed Nursing Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with medical conditions including pneumonia, COPD, acute kidney injury, and post-surgical cases Maintain nurse-patient ratios of 1 : 5-6 during the day and 1 : 6 at night Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team : charge nurses, patient care techs, and monitor techs Utilize respiratory therapy equipment such as Bipap and care for stable trach patients Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR Participate in department-specific orientation and ongoing nursing education Adhere to unit policies, including low census on-call requirements Discover rewarding Med / Surg Tele RN jobs in Arizona and experience the warmth and hospitality of Yuma.
