Field Researcher

Metrostudy, a Hanley Wood company, is the country's leading housing information provider, supplying accurate information to members of the building industry for over 30 years.

This Field Researcher position is a short-term, quarterly role. Field Researchers are responsible for driving through new residential subdivisions recording the building progress for every lot.

Research work is done over a 2 to 3 week period at the end of each quarter (every 90 days). During that time, the hours are flexible within the calendar week, Sunday through Saturday, 8AM – 6PM.

The pay rate is $16.00 per hour plus mileage.

Survey work will be completed in the following areas :

Northern California Bay Area

Specifically Contra Costa and Possibly Alameda

Qualified candidates will possess :

• A Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Current automobile insurance
• The ability to lift 20lbs
• Attention to detail and detail orientation
• Basic math skills
• Ability to use GPS navigation systems and / or read maps
