As a Security Professional - Access Control TWIC in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will help maintain a secure environment at a chemical or petrochemical location by monitoring and managing entry points. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to all individuals on site. Your ability to communicate clearly and respond professionally to situations will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into designated areas within the chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Verify credentials of personnel, visitors, and contractors, maintaining awareness of site-specific policies for access control.
  • Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries related to access procedures and site navigation.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols from Allied Universal and site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the business premises and perimeter to observe and report security-related concerns or unusual conditions.
  • Document and report all access control activities, incidents, and observed irregularities as required by site protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as necessary to support emergency response activities.

  • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
