Job description: 0.6 FTE (24 hours / week : 90–120 days; expedited privileges available for clean history Conduct H&Ps for new admissions Manage acute and chronic medical conditions Collaborate on treatment plans and interdisciplinary goals Consult with psychiatric providers on co-occurring conditions Prescribe and monitor medications; interpret labs Support substance withdrawal management Document care accurately and implement stewardship practices Manageable patient volume in a structured inpatient unit Minimal procedures with outpatient-level primary care expectations Collaborative care model with experienced psychiatric providers Welcoming team culture and interdisciplinary support DEA, NPI , and prescriptive authority BLS certification (AHA) Experience in family practice, geriatrics, or young adult care Preferred : Experience with mentally ill populations Familiarity with psychiatric care standards and regulations Comfort managing chronic medical and psychiatric conditions Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and specialists across various healthcare settings, gaining insights and perspectives that enrich your professional practice.
