Data Infrastructure Engineer

A company is looking for a Software Engineer - Data Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and implement improvements to system's cost efficiency, reducing data storage and processing costs

Design and implement scalable and efficient data architectures, meeting data needs from data scientists, engineers, and business partners

Participate in the team's oncall rotation, helping solve timely reliability incidents

Required Qualifications

2-5 years of experience working in Data Infrastructure

Proficiency in Python and SQL query design

Experience with big data processing frameworks, such as Hive, Spark, and Trino

Experience building data-intensive applications (high velocity / high volume)

Experience with SQL / NoSQL data store & data lake operations
