About The Position

Job Title : Dialysis Registered Nurse

Must-Have :

• Epic experience preferred
• On-call requirement : Yes, 1-2 per week, 18 : 30-08 : 00, 1 Sunday per month, 24 hours
• Weekend requirement : Yes, every other weekend
• Float within scope to meet facility needs

Description :

The registered nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment.

Patient ratios are 1 : 2 during the day and 1 : 1 at night.

The nurse will work closely with an interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes.

Eligible clinicians will be required to perform dialysis in inpatient units including ICU and stepdown.

Skills required include ability to cannulate AV fistula and graft, manage infection control, and perform hemodialysis procedures.

Strong patient assessment and communication skills are essential for this role.

Candidates will need to demonstrate experience in acute care inpatient dialysis and management of anticoagulation therapy.

The position may require the nurse to be on call and provide weekend coverage as needed.

Applicants should be prepared to float and provide care across various units when necessary.

Due to facility rules, locum candidates outside of a specific geographic radius cannot be accepted.

References from previous employment within the last year are necessary for consideration.

Strong preference for candidates who are experienced in the EPIC charting system.
