SAP Master Data Analyst

Job Description :

Overview of responsibilities and requirements for a role focused on Master Data Management within the supply chain domain.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated expertise in Master Data Management (MDM) within the supply chain domain, with a focus on ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve data-related issues, particularly regarding intercompany flowssuch as duplicates, incomplete records, inconsistency, and outdated information.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and master data teams to ensure accurate data setup, supporting various project phases and system integrations.
• Proficiency in data governance and data quality management methodologies to uphold the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of supply chain data.
• Design and implement automation processes for data validation, cleansing, and seamless integration.
• Model and map data to facilitate accurate data transfer between source systems and SAP applications.
• Understand Customer and Vendor master data, including codes, contact details, payment terms, tax information, banking details, and certifications.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of SAP Material Master data and related details to support operational needs.
• Expertise in Pricing Conditions, including base prices, discounts, surcharges, currency, validity periods, and tax rates.
• Manage master data flows within large-scale implementation projects with cross-functional dependencies, ensuring data accuracy and consistency throughout the process.
• Exhibit excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Communicate Master data concepts and dependencies clearly to business stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
• Present information effectively; good presentation skills are desirable.
