Multiple opportunities for LBS-1 Special Education Teacher with PediaStaff : Special Education Teacher in Woodridge, IL area .

We're currently seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (40-50 / hr)  to support students i n the WOODRIDGE, IL area .

Role Overview :

Our client has openings in multiple grade levels including :

• 2nd-5th grade
• 3rd-6th grade
• 5th-8th grade
• 9th-11th grade
• Two transitional classrooms are also available for students ages 17-22 years old

This is a school that accepts referrals from public school districts in the Chicagoland area. Potential students are k-12 with a primary diagnosis of autism. Other diagnoses can include intellectual delay, various health impairments and developmental delays.  Some children are severely autistic, some are non-verbal, there are also a few with externalizing behaviors. Therapists and paraprofessionals are on-site and the team works together to meet the needs of the students. As a Special Education Teacher, you will support students with diverse learning needs by creating inclusive and personalized educational plans that help them thrive both academically and emotionally.
