We are seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional who is passionate about empowering individuals to reach their goals and strive for more. As an integral part of our care team, you will collaborate with other professionals to ensure the best possible care for those we serve.

Your primary responsibility will be to fulfill the behavioral care plan of each individual by creatively strategizing the best way for them to achieve their goals. You will teach individuals how to accomplish their objectives, use behavioral strategies that support their success, motivate and encourage them to participate in their care plans, and display an understanding of when it is appropriate to apply rights-restrictions as determined by the interdisciplinary team.

You will also provide complete, consistent, and accurate documentation of the individuals progress, provide safe environments and instruction to help them reach their goals, and advocate for individuals to have as much control over their lives as possible.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant experience working with individuals with functional, cognitive, and physical or mental health needs.
