Job description

Senior Helpers has an immediate need for experienced Home Health Aides or Caregivers in Coatesville, PA and surrounding areas.

Requirements :

Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
Able to pass a Criminal Background Check.
TB Required : 2 Step PPD, QuantiFERON, or a Chest X-ray.
Social Security Card.
Must be able to work with male and female clients.
Comfortable with cats and dogs.
Comfortable with clients who smoke.
Able to take clients out in a personal vehicle for errands, appointments, outings, and procedures when required.

Job Duties :

(Job Duties are subject to change based on the client’s personalized care plans, but are not limited to : )

Companionship and conversation

Personal Care – showering, dressing, grooming, oral care, hair care, toileting, incontinence care.

Light Housekeeping, Laundry, Linen, Mopping, Sweeping, Vacuuming.

Meal Preparation

Medication reminders

Safety and fall precautions

Transportation or escort – Errands, Shopping, Outings, Events, Family Gatherings, Doctor Appointments, Procedures.
