Travel Scrub Surgical Technologist - $2,282 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Surgical Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 10 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job ID : T4H - 914 Job Summary Per the standards of the Association of Surgical Technologists, the Surgical Technologist works under the direct supervision of a surgeon to ensure safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures. The technologist is responsible for maintaining a safe operating room environment, ensuring equipment functions properly, and assisting the surgical team to maximize patient safety. Responsibilities

• Check supplies and equipment needed for procedures
• Scrub, gown, and glove self, surgeon, and assistants
• Perform appropriate counts with circulator before and after procedures
• Assist in draping the sterile field
• Pass instruments to the surgeon during surgery
• Maintain the highest standard of sterile technique
• Assist with terminal cleaning of the room
• Clean and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization
• Assist in preparing the surgical suite for the next patient
• Work with new employees and students to train them in the Scrub Tech role Requirements Experience :
• At least one year of previous surgical technologist experience preferred Licenses & Certifications :
• Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Education :
