About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : Active RN license required

Certifications : ACLS, BCLS, NIH

Must-Have :

Experience with 1 : 6 patient ratio

Comfortable providing PCU level of care

Description :

Must have experience and be comfortable with a 1 : 6 patient ratio.

Patients typically require PCU level of care.

Weekend requirement is every other weekend.

Floating is required within scope.

Open to accommodating block schedule? No block scheduling allowed.

Available to work mandatory shifts for clinical orientation.

Experience in orthopedic nursing and total joint replacement care preferred.

The facility has a total of 210 staffed beds.

Staffing adjustments may occur up to 48 hours in advance of the scheduled shift.

Float between different care types is expected.

Travelers must be informed they will be working with COVID positive patients.

Must be able to manage cardiac telemetry and administer cardiac drips without titration.

Knowledge of handling chest tubes and performing care in various medical scenarios is necessary.

Willingness to get certified in NIHSS before the start date is required.

Telemetry experience is required.

Experience with adult and geriatric patients is essential.

Candidates must be prepared to work required holiday shifts as specified.
