  • Monday - Friday (8-hour shifts / 5 : 00 am or 7 : 00 am start)

Location :   LOUISVILLE, KY

Our Production Team is Kind of a Big Deal!  UniFirst seeks a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner to join our UniFirst Family. As a Team Partner in the Stockroom Department, you will keep our production floor stocked and ready to go as we move through the day! At UniFirst, we have a 5-day work week; enjoy Saturday and Sunday off!! We have an immediate opening and provide on-the-job training.

STOCKROOM PROCESSOR :

A  UniFirst Stockroom Processor  manages uniforms and garments by inspecting, sorting, and stocking them for delivery to customers. Key duties include order picking, inventory management, and garment handling, ensuring items are organized, processed correctly, and ready for transport. The role also involves maintaining a clean and safe workspace, completing required paperwork, and adhering to company safety and quality standards.

LINEN BAGGER & FOLDER;

A  UniFirst Production Team Partner - Linen Bagger & Folder  folds clean uniforms, towels, and wipers, then bundles, packages, and bags them according to company standards. This role requires inspecting for damage, following safety and medical guidelines, and performing other assigned duties. Key qualifications include being at least 18, able to stand for an 8-hour shift, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, and possessing basic communication and mathematical skills.

TRUCK UNLOADER & SORTER :

A  UniFirst Truck Unloader  job primarily involves unloading soiled uniforms and other products from trucks, separating items by type, weighing them, and storing them for processing. Key responsibilities also include documenting changes to customer accounts, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to all safety and PPE requirements. This role is physically demanding, requiring lifting and standing for extended periods, and often involves on-the-job training.

GARMENT SORTER & SHIPPER :

  • Prepare garments to be shipped back to customer locations
  • Organize garments by route and stop number
  • Store garments until shipment back to the customer
  • Handle final inspection to ensure products meet quality standards
  • Prepare garments that require poly bagging / wrapping
  • Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management
  • MATT ROLLER & ORDER BUILDER :

  • Bundle, package, and roll articles in accordance with company requirements
  • Handle flat good orders and select appropriate items
  • Select appropriate items by style, color, etc.
  • Inspect products for tears, holes, stains, excessive moisture, etc.
  • Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management
  • GARMENT INSPECTOR & HANGER :

  • Count garments
  • Hang garments to be processed through the steam tunnel
  • Visually inspect all garments for tears, holes, stains, and damage
  • Ensure all garments pass the UniFirst 20-point uniform inspection process
  • Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
