Requirements :
- Previous experience as a Data Cable Technician
- Ability to travel extensively
- Flexible schedule; willing to work on-call, day or night shifts as needed
- Experience reading blueprints and site maps
- Experience in CCTV, voice, and data cabling (preferred)
- Knowledge of identifying color codes and independent colors
- Ability to work in cramped spaces and at heights
- Experience operating a boom or scissor lift
- Basic telecommunication tools, PPE, and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of cabling infrastructure standards
- Proficiency with smartphones, personal computers, email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office
- Experience with conduit installation (preferred)
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (no DUI / DWI in the last 3 years)
Responsibilities :
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain cabling infrastructureRun low-voltage cabling in commercial buildings (including drilling concrete walls and limited conduit work)Ensure cables are neatly tied and bundled in compliance with safety regulationsInstall cable support structures (j-hooks, cable racks, innerduct)Conduct testing to verify all installed systems and devices are operationalTroubleshoot cable network issues as neededBenefits Package (Company Paid) :
