Nurse Practitioner to provide Outpatient Rheumatology Care

Banner University Medical Group -Tucson  is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide Outpatient Rheumatology Care . This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic Nurse Practitioner with experience, or a new graduate with appropriate training, to be part of an established and growing program.

Service Coverage : M-F 8am-12pm, 1pm-5pm | No Call

Workload Assignment :  9 4-hour sessions / week. 16 patients / day

Location :  South Campus Rheumatology Clinic

Essential Functions and Required Qualifications :

• DEA with prescriptive authority required
• FNP or ACNP designation with AZ license eligibility
• Ambulatory experience preferred, rheumatology experience a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care
• Dedication to providing excellent care in a dynamic, multi-specialty, outpatient practice
