Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in West Chester, Kennett Square, and King of Prussia PA offices. As two of the region's most respected providers of orthopedic and upper extremity care, we offer a collaborative, patient-focused environment that prioritizes clinical excellence, innovation, and ongoing professional development. This is a full-time position with Monday through Friday hours.

The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting providers with patient care and acting as the coordinator of care for patients before, during, and after office visits. This role includes preparing patients for visits, documenting vitals, maintaining exam room standards, performing basic clinical procedures, and ensuring seamless communication between patients and providers. Schedule / Hours : Full-time, on-site position.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare patients for visits with providers, including rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vitals, and prepping for procedures.
• Facilitate communication between patients and providers, collecting and sharing pertinent clinical information.
• Assist in cast and soft goods application and removal, as well as suture and staple removal.
• Maintain exam room cleanliness, organization, and supply inventory.
• Assist providers in preparing patient prescriptions and completing medical and patient forms (e.g., work release, disability, and FMLA).
• Respond to voicemails and document patient communications in the EMR system.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and ensure accuracy of patient charts.
• Support patient education regarding treatments, procedures, and follow-up care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and a HIPAA-compliant work environment.
