Cook (Skilled Nursing Facility)

Puget Sound Care is hiring cooks for all shifts in our 5-Star skilled nursing facility located in West Olympia. We pride ourselves on the quality care we provide our residents and comradery of our staff. We provide both Long-Term Care and Short-Term Acute Care. This wage for this position starts at $20 / hr depending on experience and is negotiable and based on years of experience. We currently have an opening for a FT cook, with experience working in a healthcare setting with different prescribed diet types and textures.

Responsibilities :

• Prepares and serves food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations
• Direct the meal service under the direction of the Dietary Manager and Regional Registered Dietician, in order to ensure that quality food and dining service is provided
• Follow infection control and safety measures
