Join our growing team at our snack manufacturing facility as a Maintenance Mechanic, where you’ll help keep production running smoothly and efficiently. In this hands-on role, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery to ensure high-quality production with minimal downtime. Maintenance Mechanic Job Details :

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 11pm - 7 : 30am. Must train up to 1 month Monday - Friday, 7am - 3 : 30pm.

Pay Rate : $27 p / hour

Maintenance Mechanic Job Description :

  • Maintain and repair vacuum conveying system, scale systems, mixing / extrusion equipment, gas fired ovens,

vertical form fill and sealing equipment, carton sealing and labeling machinery, pallet wrapping equipment,

conveyor belt systems,

  • Maintain battery powered lift equipment
  • Maintain building-powered equipment and automation of two production lines.
  • Utilize a CMMS to open new work orders, check work history, track inventory and preventative maintenance.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment
  • Reading, interpreting and following instructions and operation manuals
  • Operating a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Performing general maintenance work on buildings.
  • Complying with health and safety regulations related to working in a food manufacturing facility.

    • Maintenance Mechanic Job Requirements :

  • 10-hour OSHA
  • Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS utilization)
  • Strong knowledge in Electro-mechanical
  • NFPA 70E - Arc Flash Training
  • Ability to read and interpret industrial facility equipment drawings and mechanical / electrical schematics.
  • Strength and physical dexterity to perform duties and responsibilities of the job, including heavy work with periodic exposure to inclement weather, hot and humid environments.
  • Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
  • Ability to work on-call (rotation), overtime and weekends as needed
  • Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
