Schedule 3x12.0 rotating shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights) including Weekends, Holidays, On-Call, and Callback as per unit needs. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Level 1 RN Psych to join our team in Unit 3900. The candidate will perform intake assessments, create nursing care plans, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver exceptional health care to our patients. Responsibilities Conduct intake assessments through interviews with patients and relatives to gather case history. Plan and provide nursing care for patients. Make nursing diagnoses based on the medical and emotional status of patients and recommend treatment options. Consult with psychiatrists and other behavioral health staff in designing appropriate treatment plans. Administer and document reactions to psychotropic drugs and other medications. Arrange further medical attention when necessary. Assist clients in understanding emotional disturbances and the need for treatment. Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and patients. Test vital signs and ensure pain treatments are administered appropriately. Document all patient information in medical charts and follow physician's written orders. Ensure patient confidentiality. Perform administrative tasks such as filing and completing progress notes in the computer system. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure RN License (New York License ONLY) BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) CPI Certification Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field Why ARMStaffing?
