Job Description

Howard Technology Solutions is a rapidly expanding technology solutions provider serving the K-12, Higher Education, Healthcare, Government, and Commercial markets. We are seeking a motivated, well-organized AV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, a solid understanding of AV best practices and standards, basic knowledge of signal flow, troubleshooting abilities, and experience in installing, testing, and commissioning custom commercial AV integrated systems.

Responsibilities

• Review project documentation and consult with the project manager to understand installation requirements.
• Install AV system components such as displays, projectors, screens, speakers, microphones, amplifiers, control systems, and racks following industry best practices and project scope.
• Provide on-site service and support for installed AV systems.
• Verify delivery and shipment of gear to the job site.
• Maintain effective communication with customers and project management.
• Lead subcontractors on-site when necessary.
• Support off-site programming resources as needed.
• Keep the Project Manager informed about installation progress.
