Job description

Job Title : Cloud Network Architect

Location : Nashville, TN (Remote)

Duration : 1 year contract

Summary :

  • Looking for a Cloud Network Architecture to work as a part of the Network Engineering team in support of new project deployment and applications migration to cloud.
  • Candidate should have extensive experience in cloud architecture, network design, and infrastructure deployment.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently or with a team with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with scripting languages and network automation is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience) required.

Responsibilities :

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud architectures, focusing on network and security across AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP clouds.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of network technologies and concepts that includes routing, switching, firewalls, and network monitoring and management.
  • Design and engineer network solutions utilizing Cisco, Palo Alto, Aviatrix and complex BGP configurations.
  • Develop, test and upgrade enterprise network architectures for hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as code tools, particularly Terraform, to automate and manage infrastructure deployments.
  • Participate in capacity planning, performance monitoring, and system optimization activities to ensure optimal resource utilization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud and network infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Work with engineers, architects, and IT support teams to establish guides, procedures, documentation using Jira and Confluence tools.
