Position Summary :

GTI is seeking a motivated and detail oriented Entry-Level EH&S Specialist to support and promote a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace. This role will assist in monitoring and enforcing health and safety programs, maintaining regulatory documentation, and supporting plant-wide EH&S initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct routine safety walkthroughs and audits on the production floor
• Support incident investigations and root cause analysis for workplace injuries or near misses
• Assist with safety training programs (e.g., PPE, lockout / tagout, hazard communication)
• Help maintain safety data sheets (SDS), safety reports, and training logs
• Monitor and assist with hazardous waste storage, labeling, and disposal in accordance with EPA and ADEQ guidelines
• Participate in and support safety committees and team meetings
• Assist in preparing for OSHA inspections and other regulatory audits
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations
• Maintain inventory of safety equipment and supplies
• Track safety metrics and assist in developing continuous improvement initiatives
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and proactive communication

Manufacturing environment (exposure to machinery, noise, temperature changes

May require occasional evening or weekend work for audits or safety incidents

Monday-Thursday 5am-3 : 30pm

or

Friday-Sunday 5am-5 : 30pm
