JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

Department : Medical Oncology

Shift Timings : 07 : 00- 19 : 00 Hours Monday to Friday 3 days 12 hours shift

Per Week : 36 Hours

44 bed medical oncology / hematology unit, 1 : 5 ratio, chemo administration, hospice care, hemophilia, SCC, medical overflow. Opportunity for chemo administration if applicant has ONS chemo certification.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
