Warehouse Associate I

Location : Liverpool, NY

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM

Pay Rate : $18.00 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate I to join our fast-paced, high-energy team in Liverpool, NY. In this role, you'll play an essential part in ensuring that freight and inventory move efficiently through the warehouse and get to where they need to go. You'll work alongside a skilled management team that values hard work, safety, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with shipping and receiving operations, including unloading trucks and verifying merchandise.
  • Match purchase orders with sales orders and distribute accordingly.
  • Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, and shipping documents to determine items for movement, assembly, or shipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Assemble products and assist with inventory counts.
  • Take check calls from drivers to confirm delivery status and ensure accurate load tracking.
  • Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring on-time and damage-free transport.

Requirements

  • Must wear composite or steel-toe safety shoes at all times.
  • Capable of heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs) and working in a high-paced environment.
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer literacy for data entry and order tracking.
  • Ability to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written or verbal instructions.
  • Preferred Experience

  • Prior warehouse or dock experience in transportation or logistics.
  • Experience loading / unloading trailers.
  • Familiarity with handheld scanners
